High school seniors are invited to
participate in the
Living History Museum
Scholarship Competition
Students will write and submit an original 800-1000 word essay based on the following prompt:
Protected by the 1st Amendment and internationally recognized as a human right, protests have been integral to the Black experience in America. Choose a moment from Black History. like the Montgomery But Boycott, and dascribe how that event has made your life and the lives of your family and your community better.
