PRESIDENT'S WELCOME

On behalf of the Rolling Hills/Palos Verdes Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., it gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to our official website.

The Rolling Hills/Palos Verdes Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., was chartered on January 14, 2001 by 42 outstanding women.  It was their shared vision, enthusiasm and desire to bring forth meaningful programming and community service as envisioned by our 22 Founders on January 13, 1913.  Over the last 23 years, we have remained faithful and committed to the ideals of our dear Sorority of Scholarship, Sisterhood and Service, as we continue to be on the frontline in the communities we serve.

Our Chapter continues to make an impact on our community by providing an extensive array of public service initiatives that embody our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.

If you are a member of our illustrious sisterhood, new to the area, and looking for a chapter home, I invite you to join us at a chapter meeting and/or a chapter event.  If you’re a member of the community, we welcome your support our public events and fundraisers.  To our supporters, thank you for your presence.  We ask that you continue to keep our Chapter lifted in prayer as we continuously work to enhance the lives of the youth of the communities we serve.
